Mrs. Sheryl Siddiqui is the
Director for American Outreach/ Community Relations
for the Islamic Society of Tulsa. Raised in Massachusetts, she
graduated from Salem State College with a Bachelors
of Science in Nursing. After working for six years
in emergency rooms in New
Jersey and
Wisconsin, she focused her
efforts on family and community activism.
Her volunteer efforts have been in
the fields of education, First Amendment rights,
domestic violence, mental health, disaster
mitigation, and interfaith understanding. The
Oklahoma
Center for Community and
Justice, The Tulsa Human Response Coalition, the
Tulsa Language and Culture Bank, Tulsa Citizen Corps
Council, the Council on American-Islamic
Relations-Oklahoma Chapter, and the Islamic Society
of Tulsa are her main board affiliations. She is a
member of Leadership Tulsa Class XXIV and of
Leadership Oklahoma’s Class XIX.
