Linda Jenkins is a management consultant with over 23 years of nonprofit and public sector management experience. Ms. Jenkins is President of Jenkins Consulting Group an executive and organization consulting firm specializing in organization assessment, board development and strategic planning for nonprofit organizations. Jenkins Consulting Group provides customized services that are tailored to fit client needs for practical strategic solutions. Recent projects include assessment and development of recommendations to strengthen an organization’s Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) program; lectures for the University of Oklahoma; and board retreat facilitation.

Ms. Jenkins acquired her professional experience through positions with the City of Long Beach, CA, the City of Tulsa and the Tulsa Area United Way and nonprofit board service. As Community Investments Vice President at Tulsa Area United Way, she redesigned and continually enhanced the forms and procedures it used to allocate funds to health and human services agencies. She consistently received “outstanding” quality ratings from the agency’s volunteers.

Ms. Jenkins moved to Tulsa when she was 10 years old. She graduated from Holland Hall Upper School as Student Council President and Girl of the Year. She holds an A.B. Degree in History/Urban Studies from Princeton University and a Masters Degree in Public Affairs from the LBJ School at the University of Texas at Austin. She was awarded the Claudia Taylor (Lady Bird) Johnson Fellowship to support her studies at UT.

Ms. Jenkins is a Leadership Tulsa graduate. She served on the board of directors for YWCA Women Shelter in Long Beach, CA, and Youth Services of Tulsa. She has received multiple community service awards including an Evergreen Spirit Award from the AIDS Coalition of Tulsa and a Leadership Vision Award from Tulsa C.A.R.E.S. Both Awards were presented in recognition of her long-term efforts to promote funding and support for HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
