Judith Davis is Virginia Tech’s first marketing associate for gift planning, focused full-time on promoting deferred and complex outright gifts in support of the university’s current $1 billion Campaign for Virginia Tech: Invent the Future.

This is Judith’s second university-wide campaign at Virginia Tech, where her previous service was in the area of communications and donor relations. She has written for CASE Currents, The Major Gifts Report, and university publications, including Virginia Tech Magazine. Her public speaking has included conference and seminar presentations at Swarthmore and Harvard.

An alumna of the University of Richmond, Virginia, Judith has been a business owner, freelance writer, designer, instructor, and consultant. She has worked in the public education arena in grades K – 12, within the California community college system, and at the university level, the last 15 years in the area of private support for public education.
